A story of two women eating only fruit

Sadly, Karolina is not the first to suffer from this condition due to eating fruit. Zhanna Samsova, a fiery Russian vegan foodie known online as Zhanna d’Art, sadly passed away in July 2023 at the age of 39 in Malaysia. Reportedly, he died from “starvation and exhaustion” caused by his restricted diet. For at least the last four years of his life, he had followed a vegan diet, eating mostly fruits, sunflower seeds and sprouts, fruit juices and juices. In the extreme, friends reported that his diet consisted almost exclusively of fruit, with other claims suggesting that he had been dehydrated for six years. Instead, he had chosen fruits and vegetables. Samsova enthusiastically promoted this green lifestyle on social media, believing that it transformed her body and made her look younger than her peers.
Zhanna’s health is rapidly declining due to her fruit consumption.
Despite her online cred, Samsova’s health has been visibly declining. Friends noted his “constant” appearance has raised concerns. Another friend described how they dreaded ‘finding his lifeless body in the morning.’ Her mother, Vera Samsova, was desperate to save her daughter, not accepting her overeating habits and trying to convince her to get healthy food. Just months before he died, friends saw him in Sri Lanka looking tired with swollen legs and oozing lymph nodes. It is said that he was sent home to seek treatment, only to run away and continue his journey. His official cause of death was attributed by his mother to a cholera infection such as exhaustion and malnutrition caused by her strict vegan diet.
Is a raw, vegan diet to blame?
The main problem that led to the death of both women was not a normal or balanced, vegan diet. Instead, it was the extreme and restricted nature of the “regimens” that the “Randaracrerians” had lost, which followed malnutrition and starvation. In the case of Karolina Krzyzak, the doctors clearly linked her death to starvation and severe medical conditions directly caused by her only fruit diet. Her death was the result of a catastrophic breakdown of her body due to a complete lack of essential proteins, fats, and other critical nutrients. Therefore, the diet itself, by making starvation, was a fatal method deadly.
For Zhanna Samsova, her mother revealed the cause of death quickly as cholera as an infection, however, the disease was said to be aggravated by physical exhaustion due to her vegan diet. Medical experts and his friends pointed out that his long-term diet, caused by years, including long periods of dry food and years of complete lack of money, left him completely malnourished, exhausted, and unable to fight off even a common infection. This suggests that overeating significantly lowers the immune system and the overall function of the organ, which turns an unpleasant surviving illness into a fatal one. Finally, experts consider these side effects to be the result of disturbed eating patterns, such as fruits, which are baseless and dangerous and harmful, instead of a healthy lifestyle.
Binge eating is not the answer
The human body is complex and requires a wide range of macro- and micronutrients to function and thrive. The argument with extreme or restrictive diets like this is that they don’t provide the minimum amount of calories a person needs to function at their body’s basic functions. Yes, fruits and vegetables are good for you – both in fresh and cooked forms. Of course, the average amount could consume other products. However, eating only fruits and vegetables does not provide you with enough protein, carbohydrates, and fats the words of the count full of callouses life. Eventually your body’s systems will begin to fail. True health comes from a diet that contains the right balance of a variety of different foods. Whole grains, vegetables and legumes, lentils, beans, trans fats, nuts and seeds, and animal sources of protein if you choose. It’s also okay to occasionally include foods with less nutritional value, such as cakes, cookies, french fries – as long as they’re not unusual. Fruits and vegetables should be separate parts of the diet, but they cannot be the only thing we eat. If you’re not sure if you’re getting the right nutrition you need, talk to a registered dietitian. They can help you create a diet that is right for you.
